Class 6, step 3, part 2

For part two of the silver dollar exercise I chose to use gimp. I first used the circle tool to create the circle. I then tried to match the color using the silver metallic color chart. I then used the text tool to create the text. I then tried to draw in some designs. However, I had a lot of trouble with this. I used the pencil tool to try to create the face. Looks kind of funny but its hard to do. Before I knew it the 30 minutes was up.

Class 6, step 2, part 1

For this exercise I tried to create a silver dollar using word. First I used the shapes using a circle. I then adjusted the the format of the shape. I changed the color trying to get it to silver and used a bit of a gradient. Then I change the lines to try to make it look like silver coin. Adding the sort of bumping dotted line like a silver dollar has. I added some glow around that. I then added ONE DOLLAR in the center. I tried playing with some of the function to make it curved. I couldn't figure it out. I played around with the feature a lot but before I knew it the half hour was up.

Class 5, Assignment 1

To create this Piktochart I first selected my layout. I choose the layout that I thought would be work to separate different section. First I saved the top image of k12 Summit to my desktop. I then uploaded to my piktochart and placed it on the top. Next section I added a few different paragraphs about immeresive education. What summits are and a bit of information. The next section I added information about the past summits. What years and location. I then added my name and downloaded it to my desktop.

Midterm # 10

This is a screen shot of my midterm 10. To create this I used Microsoft word. First I created the house with the triangle and rectangle shapes. I changed the colors of the roof and walls using the texture fill. I then added the sun using basic shapes. I then experimented with a couple of the line tools to create the shapes aside the house. It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. Midterm # 9

This is my midterm number 9. To create this I used microsoft word drawing tools. Although the newer word doesn't have the "drawing tools" the functions still exist through ribbon. This took me some time to figure out. I used the shape tools and text boxes to create the shapes. I then changed the size and colors along with the outlines.  It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. Texture Mapping

In this image you can see the texture of the roof. Very clearly see the different colors that make up the texture of the roof. Texture mapped.

In this image you can see the small wall to the right. This has a solid colored that is flat shaded.

In this image you can see the bench to the right. This is an example of solid coloring.

In this image you can see the walkway has clear definition of colors. This is considered texture mapping. Up close the texture of the wood grain can be seen.

This image is an example of texture mapping. The wall in front of my avatar has clear definition of texture mapping.

From this point of view you can see the house is clearly a solid colored format.
