Red eye format change png, gif, jpg
Hey everyone.
Not sure what to title this, if there is a midterm #4 or not. But anyways this is the redeye with jpg, png, and gif
For saving as a gif format I went to the extensions on gimp and saved as gif. The gif image is not as good of quality. You can see lines on the face. The pixles seem to be showing a lot more. Not good quality compared to the jpg.
The Jpeg seems to be pretty good quality. Some what equal to the png quality. Both png and jpg are much better than the gif.
redeye.png The png seems to be pretty good quality. Definitely better than the gif. To switch from the jpg format to png I went under the extension and found png. Saved file as png. |

MIDTERM # 3
This is Ball.gif
To save in this format I simply saved as to gif. When saving go under the format extensions column in gimp... Look for gif. Save as and follow the instructions.

To get to to format I saved the image as jpg. To do this I went under the extensions and found the jpeg or jpg format and saved it under that.
This is ball.png
To find this format i saved as. Then look under the extensions column. Then find the png. Save as png format. Then adjust the settings as instructed.
This is my midterm # 3. For this midterm i used the picture of the ball. I then changed the formats png gif and jpg. MIDTERM #2
This is my midterm #2. This is a screen shot of samus the cat. In this picture I used the select region tool to add the box for the text. I then used the text tool to type Dan Lynch says samus is a trouble maker! Saved the file as a jpeg and uploaded for my midterm assignment 2. Midterm #1
This is my midterm #1. For removing the redeye in this photo I used the eclipse select tool. Then surround the part of the eyes that are red. Click on Filters- then enhance- then red eye remover. Then adjust the threshold. It took me a long time to figure this out. But now that I know how to do it, it's very easy. Assignment 2-1: My GIMP Photo
Hey everyone. This is a picture of me. My name is Dan Lynch. I enjoyed playing around with the GIMP. Should be interesting to see what you can do with the effects. By the way I originally tried saving this photo as format xfc(as it said in the video) and was unable to upload it to my blog. To change I exported photo and saved it as jpeg format.
